hi kristen, i’ve definitely got the travel bug but the problem is i’m only seventeen and although i’m more than happy to work, budget and pick cheap accomodations , i think the main issue is safety – since a lot of the places i want to go (eg. parts of south america, africa, asia, europe) aren’t the safest for a 17 year old girl and my parents are concerned. would love any tips or destination recomendations for solo female travel!

ps your blog is absolutely amazing !!!

I just found your site which is awesome by the way. And I just solo traveled to Ireland and it’s not as scary as I thought but your tips are really helpful still, since I’m still nervous about solo traveling.
