VIDEO: Ali’i Kula Lavender Farm

On the magical island of Maui in Hawaii, is a unique lavender farm that sends you into a state of tranquility.  The Ali’i Kula Lavender Farm is nestled along the skirt of Haleakala (House of the Sun) mountain, at an elevation of approximately 4000 ft, and covering 13.5 acres.  The garden is home to approximately 55,000 lavender plants and 45 different varieties of lavender.

The Lavender Farm was created by Agricultural Artist and Horticultural Master, Ali’i Chang who was more than a master gardner but also a visionary.  He transformed the farm into a breathtaking canvas and took pride in his work and the work of his staff. When visiting the farm, you can see the artifacts and collectibles that Ali’i gathered in his many years of travels.

Ali’i Kula Lavender Farm produces top quality products, which you can buy at the farm or online.  Every product is carefully made using natural, botanical and organic ingredients and is animal and earth friendly.   When you’re visiting the farm, you must not leave without trying the delicious lavender coffee, scone and brownie.  Your taste buds will thank you for it!

The video above was filmed during my visit to the farm.  I never knew about the farm before leaving for Maui, but so glad that I discovered it while I was there.
