It has always been important for me to take good care of my skin. This is especially true when I travel. I’m constantly on air planes heading to both cold and hot climates. While this sounds all luxurious, it isn’t always for the skin. In airplanes, you’re exposed to dry recycled air which leaves your skin tight and flaky from dehydration. While both extreme cold and hot weather can do a lot of damage to your skin if you don’t properly take care of it. Also, jet lag isn’t the greatest friend for your skin.
While I don’t always wear makeup, but I do have a daily cosmetic routine I start and end my day with. This keeps my skin healthy and glowing no matter what travel throws at me. Here are the 10 skin care products I currently can’t travel without (and why you shouldn’t either):
Caudalíe Paris Face Mask
Travelling can expose your skin to many toxins and pollution, especially in major cities. The Caudalíe Paris Face Mask draws out accumulated toxins from clogged pores to revitalize and invigorate your complexion. It’s especially great to use after a long flight. It’s enriched with grape seed oil to detoxify, pink clay and coffee to clarify, and papaya enzymes for a boost of immediate radiance. I use it a couple of times a week before bed and it always leaves my skin super smooth and glowing in the morning.
Caudalíe Paris Vinoperfect Radiance Serum
I never used face serum until recently, and it’s been a game changer. The Caudalíe Radiance Serum is made using highly concentrated grapevine sap (hence the name Vinoperfect), which is 62 times more effective than vitamin C. I use a few drops of this serum and rub it all over my face and neck. I absolutely love the satiny feel it has, and how much it hydrates and evens out my skin tone.
Caudalíe Paris Vinoperfect Overnight Renewal Cream
As you can tell by now, I’m a fan of the Caudalíe Paris product line. This overnight renewal cream has become a nightly favourite of mine. Before bed, immediately following the Caudalíe Face Mask and Radiance Serum, I run a nickel size portion of this overnight cream all over my face and neck. This gentle exfoliating cream then works overnight to visibly smooth lines and reduce pores.
Origins No Puffery
Puffy eyes are my worst enemy. Whenever I am suffering from jet lag, my eyes suffer from extreme puffiness. The Origins No Puffery is a cooling roll-on formula that not only helps to reduce the swelling but feels nice and cool when it’s applied, making you feel refreshed.
Rocky Mountain Soap Co. Body Butter
It looks like deodorant, but it’s actually a natural moisturizer that smells like heaven. First of all, I’m obsessed with this company. Rocky Mountain Soap Co. is a Canmore, Alberta born company that believes the earth provides more than enough ingredients to give us beautiful and healthy skin for life. This body butter is made up of 76% organic ingredients and is 100% natural and toxin-free. I like to rub it on all of my dry patches to moisturize and protect my skin. There are a few different scents available, but my favourite is the Vanilla Coconut.
Rocky Mountain Soap Co. Calming Toner
Depending on your skin type will determine the right toner for you. I use the Lavender and Arnica toner which is great to sooth delicate and irritated skin. Before applying any creams or serum to my face, I spritz a little bit of this calming toner to my skin and immediately feel wonderful. Not only does it automatically refresh my skin, it smells incredible.
Lush Lip Scrub
One of the things that annoys me the most are dry, cracked lips. Not only is it painful, but it’s not the most attractive. For this reason, I never travel without my Lush Lip Scrub. Whether I’m exploring cold or hot climates, this scrub eliminates dry skin from my lips, keeping them look nice and healthy. What’s extra special about this lip scrub, is you can even eat it since it’s made up of natural ingredients and tastes pretty delicious.
Lip Gloss
After scrubbing your lips, applying a nice lip balm will leave your lips looking more luscious than ever! The Earth Mama Angel Baby Lavender Lip Gloss is one of my favourites. Not only does it leave your lips silky smooth, it smells incredible.
Hand Cream
I may be a little obsessed with using the Nova Scotia Fisherman Seabuckthorn and Shea Lotion. I just love the way it keeps my hands soft and smelling delicious. Seabuckthorn has incredible benefits. It provides 10 to 15 times more vitamin C than oranges and is the 3rd highest source of Vitamin E in the plant world. The Seabuckthorn is a bush berry that is incredibly rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, which are all great for healthy skin. It’s also high in fatty acids, like omega 3s, 6s, and 7s.
Coconut Oil
Coconut oil is one of nature’s magical multi-purpose creations. I lather coconut oil all over my skin after a shower, to remove makeup and as a lubrication. I also put it in my coffee, use it as lipgloss and use it as a hair treatment a couple of times a week.

Thanks for this amazing information. It has helped me a lot in taking care of my skin to get a healthy and glowing skin.
Your skin care routine may include washing your face and body multiple times a day to eliminate blemishes and excess oil. However, someone else in your family may have dry and aging skin that requires frequent moisturizing to help it look its best.
Thanks for cosmetics store this! Pinning now.
nice article
Nice choice of products. I’m just a little bit concerned about the coconut oil. It’s very comedogenic (4 out of 5 points on that comedogenic scale) and could clog your pores. Many people believe coconut oil is basically facial skincare magic. but reality is that even though coconut oil is soothing and contains lauric acid, it can clog the pores and irritate the skin.
I have a very great news today. I wish to share the blog with which really helps to get amazing skincare routine. face steam machine really helps to get healthy skin.

You are very welcome. I’m glad you found this post helpful. I’m all about great skin care. It always makes me feel like I’m pampering myself.
Not only when I travel but at home, I use Salt Sensations Pink Himalayan sea salt soap with lemongrass. It’s got a bit of grit so your skin gets exfoliated, and you feel so heavenly clean after!

I never travel without my lip balm and depending if it’s summer, I always bring with me a sunblock (sunblock is a must wherever I go whether traveling or not).
I always carry my Jack Black Intense Therapy Lip Balm SPF 25 with me in any weather condition! 🙂
Lip balm is always a must!
I never travel without my Caudalie Beauty Elixir. It\’s part serum and part toner with essential oils. It\’s great to keep your skin hydrated on a plane and it smells delicious. I apply this before moisturizer and my skin feels luscious after arrival. Plus, it freshens the air around you!
I’ve been really happy with their products as well. I love when my skin feels hydrated. It’s the worse feeling when you are on a blame and feel so dry and can’t do anything about it.
