The term "zero waste" and the idea of zero waste lifestyle has become a trending topic as more people are adopting this eco-conscious way of living with less pollution, eco-footprint and waste. If you've never heard of the zero waste lifestyle, it's a philosophy that encourages you to use only products used on a daily basis that are reused, recycled and so on. The objective of use zero waste travel essentials is for the places we visit to be kept tidier and for no trash to be sent to landfills, incinerators, or the ocean. Out of all things that are becoming trendy, it's really great that people worldwide are choosing to make it something that can have a huge positive impact on this planet now and for future generations. People are beginning to wake up and realize how impactful their day to day actions are on our planet; what they do matters. Plain and simple, there is way too much senseless waste happening around the world and even trying to use zero waste travel essentials when on the go or simply at home, can make a massive difference.

I don't necessarily believe a zero waste lifestyle is attainable for most people. This is especially true for those who have never been waste conscious. Instead, a "less waste" lifestyle seems more realistic and achievable. By making small changes in our lives we can make a huge difference for our planet. The great thing about making one change is it tends to lead to more changes and before you know it you've made several impactful changes that our planet will be greatly thankful for.

Over the past few months, I've been making more efforts to be more waste conscious. I've made several small changes in my life to reduce the amount of waste I create, and I gotta tell, you...I'm hooked! I want to keep going and find more ways to reduce my impact on the planet while inspiring others to do the same. Which is why in the video below, I share some of the ways I've been making eco-friendly changes to my life by sharing 18 zero waste travel essentials for use at home and on the road. These items are things we use, abuse and dump far too often. And although most these things are absolutely necessary for us, it's not fair to continue polluting the world we love to explore.
