Curacao is a Caribbean island located just off the coast of Venezuela that is a constituent country of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. With a heritage of both European and African (representing more than 50 nationalities), the island has a very vibrant and rich culture. The island is less touristy than other Caribbean islands which makes it feel less discovered. For a traveller, this is golden! So, when I received the invitation to participate in a vlogger trip to Curacao, I jumped at the opportunity.
Myself and six other fabulous travel vloggers, were flown down to Curacao to take part in a vlogger film festival. What this means is myself and the other vloggers had two days to go out and explore the island, capture it on camera and spend one full day editing our discoveries into one video. The videos were screened in front of a panel of judges and audience of approximately 100 people from the island. Each vlogger did an exceptional job showcasing what Curacao has to offer.
Since there is so much to see and do on the island, I figured I would need a twin! This video is of me and…..me exploring the culture and adventurous side of Curacao.
I want to give a special thank you to Diamond PR, Santa Barbara Golf and Beach Resort, Curacao Tourism Board for sponsoring this trip. I’d also like to thank my guide Angelo for helping me to discover fabulous Curacao.
Enjoy and happy travels!
