Toronto: Around the World in a Day

TBEX, the world’s largest gathering of travel bloggers, writers, and new media content creators is happening at the end of next month in Toronto!  I am so excited to be able to attend the event this year and meet people I’ve been friends with online for years but have never met in person.  I must also mention that it is in one of the greatest cities in the world….TORONTO!

No matter where I go in this world and how many places I see, Toronto will always be home for me.  However, I find it rather odd that I have never really written or made a video about Toronto.  That changed when I wrote an article for “The Official Website of Toronto Tourism.”  If you’re heading to Toronto for TBEX,  vacation, or just because you’re curious as to what Toronto has to offer, this is definitely worth the read:



Toronto is one of the most multicultural cities in the world and the place I call home. I have been to over 25 countries and counting, yet Toronto still remains my favourite city. I love the fact that I can experience every culture on any given day and everything is within a short subway ride away from each other. Explore Chinatown in the morning where you can indulge in mangosteen’s and bubble tea; then head to Kensington Market in the afternoon to hang with the hippies and listen to Jamaican beats. In the evening, enjoy pre-drinks at a local Irish pub, dinner with your hands at a traditional Ethiopian restaurant, and end the night with some salsa dancing.
