Travel can take a toll on your hair…but it doesn’t have to.
The travel hair products I mention in this video keep my hair looking and feeling healthy no matter what adventures lie ahead. After trying various hair care products, I have finally put together a travel hair set that works wonders for my hair, and I believe will do the same for yours.
NuMe Magic Wand
I’ve used several curling wands, but the NuMe Magic Wand is the one that has become irreplaceable in my travel hair set! It only takes 15 minutes for me to curl my entire head and leaves my hair looking great for days. Made from 100% pure Titanium and combining Infrared Heat and Negative Ion Conditioning Therapy, the wand doesn’t just create long-lasting curls but also leaves your hair soft and silky.
Lush Dry Shampoo
For those travel days when my hair is due for a wash but there is no opportunity to do so, Lush Dry Shampoo has become one of my favorite travel hair products. Brush on a bit of the powdered shampoo along your scalp and massage it in. In seconds, your hair will be oil-free, voluminous and look and smell fresh.
If you’re like me, a traveller who loves spending as much time in the ocean as I can, keeping my hair moisturized to keep it looking and feeling healthy is very important. That’s why argan oil is one of my essential travel hair products. Argan oil is a multi-purpose natural beauty product. It is a great moisturizer for your hair and body. While my hair is still damp after a shower, I put a toonie size bit of Argan oil in the palm of my hands and massage into my hair. I start at the tips of my hair, where I need it the most, and working my way up to my scalp.
2-in-1 Travel Brush and Mirror
Saving even a little bit of packing room is always a plus! Instead of bringing a brush AND a mirror, I bring a 2-in-1 to save space. This product has become a staple of my travel hair set.
Although most hotels supply their guests with shampoo and conditioner, hostels and guesthouses don’t. Regardless of whether your accommodations come with hair products, I still recommend bringing your own. You already know what works best for your hair, so you might as well stick with it. Since I travel with only a carry-on, it’s important for me to follow the liquid regulations set in place by the airport security. I recommend purchasing several small travel containers for your travel hair set. That way you can take your favourite shampoo, conditioner or hair serum with you wherever you go.
Coconut oil isn’t just great for cooking, it has also become one of my essential travel hair products. My favourite brands are Nutiva Organic Coconut Oil and Organic Fiji Cold Pressed Coconut Oil. Once a week during my travels (and at home), I slather my hair from top to bottom in coconut oil before I got to bed. Before my head hits the pillow, I wrap my hair in a silk scarf and then doze off as my hair gets treated by this fabulous natural beauty product. In the morning, I wash my hair as I normally would and let it air dry. This natural, easy and affordable hair treatment will leave your hair looking and feeling healthier than ever.
Hats and Other Hair Accessories
For those days where your hair is not cooperating with you, a hat or cute hair accessory will be your savior. I would highly recommend adding a hat to your travel hair set to also protect you from the sun. Not only will your hair protect your face from the UV rays, but it will protect your scalp and hair from burning as well.
I like that brush and mirror set, good one awesome
Don’t forget forget to take sun coolers with you especially in summer, it doesn’t comes under hair set but it is important
Hi, thank you for great and useful hair care tips! I also use coconut oil for my hair.
Argan oil is the first thing I pack when I travel somewhere. Also, the brush and mirror is so cute, I think it’s a good idea to carry it every day in a purse (just in case)
I will follow it in my upcoming days.I would really like to share it with my friends and colleagues. You have explained it very well.Keep posting further posts for future too.I will be very thanksful to you for your hardwork.

Hi Kristen Sarah,
Thanks a lot to for sharing such an informative article about travel hair care. I love travel in anyplace. I have read your valuable page and gotten much information and now my confusion has cleared. But I have a little question that, which foods are good for grow and thicken hair? And which foods will I avoid for my hair grow? And How to prepare for travel with hair care? Could you please suggestion me? Then I will be benefited. Anyway, I will save your website and I will share it with my friends. I hope they will be benefited by this article.
Hi Kristen, I agree with all these hair care travel essentials. Aside from coconut oil using argan oil for your hair gives more benefits to your hair . This is very helpful for travellers and beauty lovers.
Thanks for the tip! In India, the women in the South have the most beautiful and healthy hair I’ve ever seen. They use coconut oil in their hair which is when I started using it and how I keep my hair healthy and silky. Argon oil is good too but for me I prefer coconut oil.
Yes that’s true!
It is not possible to carry out all the hair care products to where ever we go but I used to have some travel containers as suggested by you. It found to be easy to keep small containers with us and thanks a lot for providing such awesome write ups!
how often do you put each product???(coconout oil and argan oil)
Love your video. Great info. By the way you look beautiful
